The Wanderer is the culmination of years of my work. It's the most complex and versatile backpack I've ever created, featuring unique dual access and plenty of organization, yet remaining lightweight and not too busy. The Wanderer answers countless requests from adventurers seeking the perfect pack. Built with premium materials and uncompromising attention to detail, the Wanderer is more than just a backpack; it's a reliable companion for any journey.
Short backstory: Back in 2022, I made two backpacks with rolltop and clamshell access, and one quickly became famous under the nickname "Black Widow". They've been called "The Perfect Pack", "The Grail" or "The Dream Backpack" by many, and over the last two years, I received many questions about whether I plan to make more. Well, two years later, here it is. It is more refined and better in every way, but the key features remain the same: dual rolltop & clamshell opening, quick access pocket, and a full array of pockets and organization.

This is only a part of ordering your own Wanderer. After securing your spot, you will need to place another order where you choose all the features, fabrics, and colors of your backpack. I split the ordering process into two parts, so you have enough time to go through all the options and decide what fabrics and features you want instead of racing through them to make sure you get your order in. FEATURES
Rolltop access with magnets and Fidlock magnetic buckles for quick and easy manipulation. You can roll it down and use only the clamshell opening, or you can expand the capacity.
Clamshell zippered access: access all your gear inside the backpack in a second.
Back panel: The back panel features a 3D spacer mesh for better comfort and ventilation, dual EVA foam padding, and a thin HDPE sheet for added structure. Both EVA foam and HDPE sheets are removable, so you can customize the fit to your use and comfort.
Laptop sleeve: The laptop sleeve fits a 15" laptop, is suspended from the bottom and you can add a side zippered access.
Quick access pocket quick access pocket with some stretch that easily fits a phone or wallet, but also a small mirrorless camera, e.g. Fujifilm X100 line or a different smaller body with a pancake lens.
Front zippered pocket with a key clip. The pocket has a bit of volume for easier access when the backpack is full.
3 zippered pockets inside: One Ultrastretch zippered pocket on the laptop sleeve, one opaque, and one Ultrastretch pocket on the front flap.
Bottle pockets for water bottles up to 1L bottles. A single 20mm compression strap above the pocket secures taller items like trekking poles or a tripod.
Waist belt attachment points and removable sternum strap.
Strong and abrasion-resistant fabrics and YKK Aquaguard zippers make the backpack durable and highly water-resistant.
